The Herts East Branch of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was established in 1927 in order to raise money for local animal welfare local money, local animals. The Branch includes Welwyn, Oaklands, Welwyn Garden City and the Hadhams, Hitchin, Stevenage, Walkern, Ware, Harpenden, Wheathampstead, Hertford, Letchworth Garden City, and Baldock.

As the RSPCA relies solely on donations from the public, volunteers must work diligently to collect money in order to help injured, sick and neglected animals. Thank you to all who give both time and money!
